Gujarat Rain Forecast: The Meteorological Department has predicted rain again in some areas of Gujarat. Especially, there may be rain in 13 districts today. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain with thunder in 13 districts and the Union Territory today. Four districts of Saurashtra, three districts of Central Gujarat and six districts of South Gujarat may receive heavy rain today.
A yellow alert for rain has been issued in Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar and Gir Somnath in Saurashtra, while Panchmahal, Dahod and Chhota Udaipur in Central Gujarat may also receive rain accompanied by lightning. The Meteorological Department has declared a yellow alert for heavy rain in six districts of South Gujarat today. Surat, Tapi, Narmada, Navsari, Dang and Valsad may receive heavy rain.
A yellow alert for rain has been issued in the Union Territory of Daman, Dadranagar Haveli and Diu. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain with thunder and wind. It is worth noting that on Tuesday, rain was reported in 121 talukas of the state. Lodhika in Rajkot received the highest rainfall of four and a half inches, while the other 61 talukas received rainfall ranging from one inch to three inches.
What did Ambalal Patel express?
Meteorologist Ambalal Patel has predicted heavy rains in the state between 17th and 24th July. Ambalal Patel has predicted that some parts of north and central Gujarat will receive heavy rains and some areas of south Saurashtra will receive torrential rains. So far, 23.40 percent of the monsoon season's rainfall has occurred in the state. Saurashtra has received the highest rainfall of 30.57 percent of the season. Kutch has received 6.87 percent rainfall so far, while south Gujarat has received 27.08 percent of the monsoon season's rainfall so far. North Gujarat has received 16.32 percent and central Gujarat has received 15.15 percent of the season's rainfall so far.
Heavy rain in the states of the country
Talking about other states of the country, the Indian Meteorological Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rains in some states of the country today. Heavy rains are expected in Madhya Pradesh, UP, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand has been flooded due to torrential rains. A large number of people's houses have been submerged in flood water in many areas. In some areas, people have to take shelter on the roofs of houses, while water-bombing has affected the lives of people everywhere.
The water level of the Sharda river has risen due to torrential rains in the mountains of Uttarakhand. Torrential rains have wreaked havoc in Assam due to heavy inflow of water from the Banbasa Sharda Barrage. So far a total of 79 people have died, including seven more people in flood and rain-related disasters. Many districts are still affected by the floods, some villages have been evacuated for safety reasons. The water level of the Sharda and Devha rivers has risen due to continuous rains in Pilibhit, UP. More than 12 villages situated on the banks of the river have been submerged in floods. Torrential rains have made life difficult. In Pilibhit, the river water has established its empire on the roads, fields and people's homes. Flood water has entered the DM residence and the Officers Colony. The officers have vacated their residences and taken shelter in hotels. So scenes like rivers flowing on the road have been created. Some vehicles are submerged in water.
Due to heavy rains in Bulandshahr, there is waterlogging everywhere. A school bus passing through the road got stuck in the rain water. School children trapped in the waterlogging appealed for help. Rapti river is flowing above the danger mark in Balrampur. Due to the rising water level of Rapti river, water has entered some villages on the river bank. In Ballia, UP, fields and houses have turned into huts, the water level of Saryu river has increased, due to which waterlogging has occurred everywhere. River water has returned to Gopalnagar Tandi village. People have been forced to move to safer places by demolishing fort-like houses.
