Bikaner's Shyam Sundar Swami will represent India in Paris Para Olympic Games

Bikaner, July 9 (HS). Bikaner's archer Shyam Sundar Swami will represent the Indian archery team in the Paralympic Games to be held in Paris from 28 August to 6 September. This will be the second consecutive time that Swami will participate in these games.

On this achievement, Swami was welcomed on Tuesday under the leadership of Divisional Commissioner Vandana Singhvi. Expressing happiness in the program organized in the Divisional Commissioner's Office Auditorium, the Divisional Commissioner said that it is a matter of pride to represent the country in the international level Paralympic Games. He expressed confidence that Shyam Sundar will hoist the tricolor flag of India in Paris by winning a medal in these games. He said that the whole country has expectations from Swami.

Swami's coach Anil Joshi said that 6 players from India will participate in archery in the Paralympic Games to be held in Paris, Shyam Sundar Swami is the only player to achieve this feat. Swami also represented the country in the Paralympic Games held in Tokyo in the year 2022. Swami will participate in a month-long training organized by the Sports Authority of India in Sonipat from July 12. From there, he will leave for Paris.

Swami belongs to a very simple family
Joshi said that Shyam Sundar Swami's family is from a simple background. His father runs a vegetable cart. He never let anything hinder his son's dreams. Shyam Sundar's hard work and dedication has brought him to this position. He told about Swami's achievements in his career so far.
