Ranchi, July 9 (HS). Union Energy and Urban Development Minister Manohar Lal Khattar inaugurated the newly built Power Grid Vishram Sadan in RIMS on Tuesday. On this occasion, Union Energy Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that I have come to Jharkhand earlier also for party programs. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has entrusted me with a new responsibility. Earlier I got the opportunity to be the Chief Minister of Haryana. I had set a target to inaugurate the Power Grid Vishram Sadan before sunset. Working on time has been a habit of following time. Narendra Modi has given direction to the country. The target has been to develop the country. Patients and relatives coming to RIMS will not have to wander. 90 thousand people will be able to get the benefit of Vishram Sadan in a year. This ultra-modern rest house has been built at a cost of approximately 20 crores. Built in an area of approximately 5034 square meters, the 310-bed rest house of Power Grid Rest House will benefit the relatives of patients admitted in RIMS. Power Grid Corporation has constructed the rest house as part of its social responsibility. It was constructed at a cost of approximately 18 crore rupees. It has facilities like reception, dining hall, cafeteria, kitchen, common room, water purifier, bathrooms on each (5) floors. All the rooms of Power Grid Rest House are equipped with beds, mattresses and furniture etc.
Along with this, a solar water heater plant (5000 liters capacity) has been installed on the roof of Vishram Sadan, which is connected to all toilets and bathrooms. A 600 liter/hour capacity RO plant has been installed on the roof. There is also an overhead tank with a capacity of 45,000 liters. About 3000 patients are treated daily at RIMS. Minister of State for Defense and Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth, Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta, Kanke MLA Samari Lal, RK Tyagi Chairman and Managing Director (Powergrid), Prof. Dr. Raj Kumar, Director RIMS were present on the occasion.
