Hathras Stampede: The SIT has submitted a 300-page investigation report on the stampede during a satsang in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. On July 2, 121 people died in a stampede during the satsang of Saakar Vishwa Hari alias Bhole Baba. The SIT has written in its report that this accident happened due to the negligence of the committee organizing the satsang.
Statements of 119 people were recorded in the report
Apart from this, questions have also been raised on the administration. However, there is no mention of Bhole Baba in the report. According to the information, statements of 119 people have also been recorded in this SIT report. ADG Agra Zone Anupam Kulshreshtha and Aligarh Commissioner Chaitra V. were included in the investigation team. Apart from this, statements of the family members of the deceased and injured devotees in the satsang have also been recorded. According to sources, the report has held the satsang organizing committee responsible for this incident for inviting more people than allowed, inadequate arrangements and officials not inspecting the venue despite permission.
These officers were held responsible
In its investigation report, the SIT has blamed the police and administrative officials. According to the report, the police and administrative officials did not take the possible crowd in this satsang seriously. The correct information about this was not given to the higher officials. For this, the SIT has directly held the administrative officer SDM Sikandrarao and Tehsildar Sikandrarao responsible. Therefore, the police has also held CO Sikandrarao and the SHO in charge of the concerned outpost responsible and has recommended action against them.
