Manoj Rathi

Hisar, July 8 (HS). Senior Congress leader Manoj Rathi has expressed concern over the poor condition of the government school in Sorki village. He said that the condition of the school building is so bad that it can collapse at any time but the MLA and officials of the area are not paying any attention to this.

On receiving information about the poor condition of the village school, Congress leader Manoj Rathi reached the spot on Monday and inspected the school building along with the villagers. During this, the villagers raised strong slogans against the MLA and departmental officials. Manoj Rathi said that the condition of the government school in Sorki village is very bad. The rooms in the school can collapse at any time, there are no fans in the rooms, children are forced to sit outside. Many times children are made to sit in the village's Chaupal for studies. A building is being constructed in the school for the last two years which has not been completed yet.

Manoj Rathi said that when we talked to the education department officials, they said that the department does not have the funds to complete the building. The Congress leader also alleged that the building being constructed has poor quality cement and iron rods. On one hand, the MLA of Hansi says that he has spent 1000 crores in Hansi and the government is giving us the full amount for development, while on the other hand the education department official says that the funds are not complete. Many times the MLA has asked for funds from the government for this school but the government is not giving it. The biggest thing is that the villagers also complained to BJP MLA Vinod Bhayana about the poor quality of material and work not being done as per the work order, but the MLA neither said anything to the official nor gave any assurance to the villagers. He alleged that the MLA of Hansi openly takes commission in every work. Congress leader Manoj Rathi and other villagers warned that if this problem is not resolved soon, every Congress worker will protest against it along with the villagers and this matter will also be brought to the notice of senior Congress leaders.
