As per the guidelines, Indian tourists can apply for Saudi stopover visa, which is valid for up to 96 hours and can be obtained up to 90 days in advance from the Saudi Airlines website at a nominal fee for administration and insurance services. Indians holding a valid tourist or business visa can obtain e-Visa with stamp proof. eVisa can be obtained from the official portal of Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia is also offering a visa on arrival option. Travellers who meet the criteria for a valid tourist or business visa from the US, UK or Schengen countries can obtain visas at Saudi airports. Permanent residents of these countries can apply for visas in person at kiosks or passport offices at Saudi airports, while those who are not eligible can apply for visas through centres in India. The process includes document preparation, appointment booking, application submission, biometric registration and passport. All these visas are also valid for performing Umrah.
