UAE government gave Golden Visa to Dubai based Hindi writer Dr Aarti Lokesh

Dubai, June 3 (HS). The United Arab Emirates (UAE) government has given Golden Visa to Dr. Aarti 'Lokesh', author of 21 Hindi books.

For serving Hindi literature in UAE, the Ministry of Culture of Dubai had recommended Dr Aarti for Golden Visa by placing her in the category of 'Geniuses of Talent'. Dr Aarti, an Indian national, hails from Ghaziabad and has been teaching in Dubai for the last two and a half decades. Dr Aarti's literature reflects the rich and strong culture of UAE as well as Indian culture. Many of her stories have been written on the land of UAE. The plot of her novel 'Nirjal Sarsij' takes place in UAE itself. Her poem 'Maruthal Ka Raja', written on the national tree of UAE 'Ghaf' (Khejri), was taught and recited during the Ghaf awareness program organized in many schools.

On receiving the Golden Visa, Dr. Aarti thanked the UAE government and its residents along with its generous ruler. She said that this initiative of the visionary rulers reflects their intention and drive to nurture, groom and protect art, talent and culture. Dr. Aarti said that this step of the government will multiply and inspire other aspiring writers to move ahead on the path of literature.

On Dr Aarti getting the Golden Visa, the founder of Dubai's Kirtan Sahitya Sabha and CA Dr Sahitya Chaturvedi said that Dr Aarti is an emerging writer of Hindi literature in Dubai, who has made her mark in a very short time while working in an intermediate school. Dr Sahitya said that it is important to create Hindi literature while living in a desert area and among non-Hindi speaking people. I thank the Indian Embassy and the UAE government for giving Dr Aarti the Golden Visa. The UAE has started the provision of giving Golden Visa only four years ago. This is not just a visa, it is an award, which is probably the first time the UAE government has given to a Hindi writer.

There is a wave of joy among those serving Hindi literature in the entire UAE after Dr Aarti received the Golden Visa. Dr Aarti also guides young Hindi authors and writers across the UAE. Dr Aarti, who has now received more than 70 honors and commendations, has also been awarded the prestigious 'Non-Resident Indian Literature Creation Award' in the year 2023.
