Accident News: The brakes of a bus going to Shri Amarnath Yatra from Hoshiarpur and Ludhiana failed. Due to the promptness of the police and security forces, a major accident was averted and many lives were saved. About eight people have been injured in this accident. These include three women as well.
There were about 45 people in the bus at the time of the incident, luckily they did not get any injuries. This accident happened due to brake failure, a major accident was averted due to the presence of mind of the driver and the security forces. The passengers in the bus somehow saved their lives by jumping out of the bus.
The injured include Rohan Kumar son of Sohan Lal resident of Hoshiarpur, Sundarpal son of Tej Chand, Rajni Devi wife of Raj Kumar, Vikram son of Raj Kumar, Raj Kumar Sharma son of Amarnath resident of Hamirpur, Himachal, Shiv Kumar son of Kamaldeep, Sagar resident of Saharanpur, Sharma resident of Ludhiana and Simran Nagarwal resident of Hoshiarpur. Admitted to 23RR hospital of Nachlana village.
According to the information received, the accident took place on Tuesday near Nachilana in Ramban district on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway. In which many Amarnath pilgrims suffered minor injuries due to a bus accident. Officials said that the bus coming from Punjab was registered (PB-02-BNLM-9389).
