Police reached Mainpuri's ashrams to arrest Bhole Baba, cordoned off the area and action continues

Mainpuri/Agra, 02 July (HS). The proposed Satsang program in Agra has been banned after more than 116 people died and hundreds were injured during the Bhole Baba's Satsang program in the pandal built on 200 bighas of land in Ratibhapur Phulrai village under Sikandrarao police station area of ​​Hathras district.

116 people died in a stampede after Bhole Baba's satsang in Fullerai village of Sikandrarao town in Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh. After this incident of large number of people getting killed and hundreds getting injured during the stampede, Bhole Baba's satsang to be held in Agra has been canceled. Narayan Hari Sakar Baba, popularly known as Bhole Baba, was to have a Sant Samagam Satsang in Saiya town of Agra on 04 July 2024. All preparations for this were done. Tents were also set up. Permission was taken from the sub-district magistrate for the satsang. After the Hathras incident, the satsang of Agra has been canceled.

After this big incident, the action to arrest Baba has been intensified. Police has also raided his ashram in Mainpuri. After this big incident, the government administration does not seem to be in a mood to show any leniency towards Baba. Effective efforts are being made with the full intention of taking major action.

List of the dead released

The administration has released a list identifying the people who died in Hathras. 116 people have been identified and action is being taken to hand over their bodies to their families.
