NDA Parliamentary Party meeting continues under the leadership of PM Modi, the government will also support the President's address

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) parliamentary party meeting on Tuesday. This will be the first time Modi will address the ruling party MPs during the first session of Parliament after becoming the Prime Minister for the third time. Official sources said that all the MPs of BJP and its allies have been informed about the meeting. They have been asked to attend the meeting.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reply to the discussion on the motion of thanks on the President's address in the Lok Sabha today. During his reply speech, he will also respond to the questions raised by the Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi in the House and the allegations made by him. The Prime Minister will give his reply at around 4 pm.

This meeting is also important because for the first time since 2014, BJP has not got majority in the Lok Sabha elections. The party is dependent on its allies to run the government. The NDA meeting is taking place at a time when the debate is going on in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha on the motion of thanks on the address of President Draupadi Murmu in the joint session of Parliament. PM Modi will respond to the discussion in both the houses. In this Lok Sabha election, BJP has won 240 seats, while its allies have got 53 seats.
