Online Exam : There is good news for the students preparing for the entrance exam. Recently, many incidents of paper leak have come to light, after which the government has come into action. The National Examination Agency (NTA) has also announced new dates for the recently cancelled examinations. Thus every time the examinations were conducted on pen-paper, but from now on these examinations will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
The NEET-2024 exam conducted by NTA created a big controversy. Later this agency also canceled or postponed many other exams due to apprehensions including paper leak. These exams include NEET PG, UGC NET, Joint CSIR UGC NET and NCET 2024. NTA has recently announced new dates for some of these exams.
New Exam Dates
As per the new dates announced by the NTA, the postponed joint CSIR UGC NET exam will now be held between July 25 and 27. The UGC NET exam will be held between September 21 and 8, while the NCET exam will be held on July 10. All these exams will be conducted by the NTA itself. Although the new date for the NEET PG 2024 exam has not been announced, according to sources, the National Board of Examinations may announce the dates soon. The new date is likely to be announced on Monday or Tuesday.
Big change in exam
Earlier these exams were conducted through pen and paper, but now will be conducted through computer based test mode. Both these exams (UGC NET and CSIR UGC NET) are conducted by NTA. According to sources, the central government is considering the possibility of conducting the NEET-UG exam in online mode as well. Therefore, this change can prove to be the best for the students. Computer based exams are considered more secure and there is no possibility of cheating or malpractice in them. Apart from this, the exams also come early.
