Massive fire at South Korea's battery plant, 20 people killed


There is news of a massive fire in a battery plant in South Korea. 20 people have died in the fire. While more than 50 have been injured. The entire area has been devastated due to the fire. A fire broke out in a lithium battery plant on Monday. The fire was so fierce that the flames were visible up to the top. On receiving information about the fire, police and fire department teams reached the spot and immediately started rescue operations.

Due to the fire in the battery plant, a cloud of smoke could be seen from a distance. Also, due to the magnitude of the fire, the atmosphere echoed with the sirens of the fire brigade coming and going. Ambulances carrying the dead and injured workers from the plant to the hospital started running continuously. Due to the fire, the police had to work hard to remove people from the spot. Also, the fire brigade personnel had to use water and chemicals continuously to control the fire. However, the police and soldiers had to work hard as the bodies of workers were found one after the other from the spot. Some firemen also got burnt in the fire.

According to the South Korean Interior Ministry, a fire broke out in a battery plant at around 10.30 am on Monday. The incident took place at a battery factory in Hyaseong, Seoul, the capital of South Korea. The cause of the fire in the plant is not clear. However, relief and rescue operations are in full swing at the spot. The register said that a total of 70 employees were present in the plant at the time of the fire. Although the fire has been brought under control after a lot of effort, the relatives of the workers started crying and shouting slogans in front of the factory.
