Ranchi, June 17 (HS). BJP State President Babulal Marandi said that as per the instructions of BJP National President and Union Minister JP Nadda, today the election in-charge and co-in-charge have been appointed in view of the assembly elections to be held in Jharkhand. Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has been appointed the election in-charge of the state and Assam Government Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has been appointed co-in-charge. The state BJP has welcomed and congratulated both the appointments.
Babulal Marandi said that both the leaders are experienced, hardworking and efficient organizers. Shivraj and Himanta Biswa Sarma have also worked hard in the Lok Sabha elections of Jharkhand. They addressed many meetings in the scorching heat. The party will benefit from their experiences, efficiency and direct guidance in the upcoming assembly elections. He said that under the guidance of the election in-charge and co-in-charge, BJP will form a strong double engine government in the state.
Leader of Opposition Amar Kumar Bauri welcomed the gathering and said that BJP has started preparing for the assembly elections. The public has already taught a lesson to the Indi Alliance in the Lok Sabha elections. He said that under the guidance of Shivraj and Himanta Biswa Sarma, the party will form the government in the state with record votes.
