PM Kisan Yojana 16th installment: If you are a beneficiary of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Nidhi Yojana), then there is big news for you. The government is soon going to release the 16th installment of the scheme (PM Kisan Yojana 16th Installment). PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a scheme run by the Central Government, through which the government transfers a total of Rs 6,000 to the accounts of farmers in three installments every year. Till now, a total of 15 installments have been released through this scheme.

When will the 16th installment be released?

Prime Minister Modi will transfer the money of the 16th installment (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi 16th Installment) through Direct Benefit Transfer on 28 February 2024. The amount of the scheme is transferred to the farmers' accounts every four months. Earlier, PM Modi had transferred the money for the 15th installment of the scheme from Khunti in Jharkhand on 15 November 2023. 5 years of this scheme have been completed.

To meet the financial needs of farmers, the government first started this scheme on 24 February 2019 i.e. 5 years ago. From 2019 till now, the government has transferred an amount of more than Rs 2.80 lakh crore to the accounts of more than 11 crore farmer families.

These farmers will not get the benefit of the scheme

The benefit of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will not be available to those farmers who have not completed the e-KYC process. In such a situation, to avail the benefits of this scheme, it is necessary for the farmers to get e-KYC (PM Kisan Scheme e-KYC) done and verification of the land done. If you do not do this, you will be deprived of the benefits of the scheme.
