Along with this, he said, in any country, especially in a democratic country, it is an important achievement for any party to be elected for the third consecutive time. The world should feel that there is a lot of political stability in India.

Regarding China and Pakistan, he said that the issues with both are different. There is a border dispute with China. A solution has to be found. Whereas the issue is of terrorism coming from across the border with Pakistan and this dispute is years old. A solution has to be found.

He further said that India's respect as a member of the world has increased. In this turbulent, divided and conflict-ridden world, in a world full of tensions, countries trust us that India will always advance their interests.

After the swearing-in ceremony, Narendra Modi met many world leaders. Among them, the leaders of the Global South were confident of the way he would present himself on the international stage. Along with the Neighbourhood-First policy, Narendra Modi wants world peace, progress and prosperity for all. Countries of the world, especially those of the Global South, have been reassured.
