Jaunpur, 07 June (HS). On the night of 5 June, near a shop located in the revenue village Rampur of Inamipur Gram Panchayat of Singramau police station area, some rowdies from one side shot former Pradhan Satya Prakash alias Mukesh Tiwari over a dispute between children. Mukesh died during treatment.
Mukesh Tiwari was seriously injured after being shot in the left hand and stomach. With the help of relatives, he was rushed to Badalpur Community Health Center. Seeing his critical condition, the doctor referred him to the district hospital after first aid. From there, he was referred to Varanasi Trauma Center in critical condition. The former Pradhan died during treatment on Thursday. In this case, the police have arrested three named accused and sent them to jail.
The family has refused to cremate the body. On receiving this information, Badalpur MLA Ramesh Chandra Mishra convinced the family to perform the last rites and carried the body on his shoulders for the last rites. He assured the SDM and CO present on the spot to take necessary action in the case and provide justice to the family and help them in every possible way.
