Lakhs of devotees are coming for Chardham Yatra. All preparations are being made by the Uttarakhand government to ensure that the devotees do not face any inconvenience. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has made an important announcement today.
VIP darshan closed
CM Dhami said that the arrangements for VIP darshan in all four Dhams will be postponed till May 31. Earlier this ban was only till May 25. The Chief Minister has asked the officials to send devotees to Char Dham as per their capacity. While reviewing the arrangements for Chardham Yatra at the Secretariat on Thursday, CM Dhami said that the safety of all the devotees coming on Chardham Yatra is our first priority. The devotees were also requested to come for darshan as per the date given as per the registration of the pilgrimage.
strict testing system
CM Dhami further said that the registration process should be strengthened. The check post should be monitored jointly by the transport, revenue and police departments. The Chief Minister directed that strict checking arrangements should be ensured on all the routes of Chardham as well as on the entry routes of Vikasnagar, Yamunapul, Dhanaulti, Suvakholi.
