Because the Election Commission of India has launched such an app, through which you can get information about the crowd at the polling stations sitting at home and can go to the booth to cast your vote as soon as the crowd reduces. He said that the Election Commission is taking important steps to increase the voting percentage during the Lok Sabha elections.
Taking important decisions for the elections to be held on May 25, the Commission has launched an app called Voter in Q. With this, voters can see live the crowd at the polling centers on the election day, so that voters can go to the center to vote as per their convenience. Many times voters see the crowd and go back without casting their vote, but now information about polling stations will be available through this app.
Q Mobile App approved by Election Commission of India
District Election Officer Mohammad Imran Raza said on Thursday that the Election Commission of India has also given its approval to the Voter in Q mobile app as an experiment. If the voter feeds the name of his area, name of the polling booth, name of the voter etc. on the mobile app, he will get an OTP. Using which he can directly connect with the BLO at the booth. After every hour or half an hour, the BLO will tell in the app how many people are currently standing in the queue to cast their vote.
Voters will not have to wait long to cast their vote.
DC said that this mobile app and website is being used in elections for the first time. Its biggest advantage is that the voter will not have to wait for long to cast his vote and he can go to cast his vote as soon as the crowd reduces. If this experiment is successful, it can be implemented in all the assembly constituencies in future.
