Saksham app will be helpful for disabled voters |Live Updates,Unveiling the Latest India News Trends

Hisar, 13 May (Hissar). Various efforts are being made by the Election Commission of India to ensure 100 percent voting. Saksham App has been created with the aim of making the use of voting rights easy and convenient for the disabled people. This app is a tool for the convenience of persons with disabilities.

District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Pradeep Dahiya said on Monday that disabled people can use this app to avail various services related to elections. The interface of the Saksham app has been adapted to the needs of persons with disabilities. Through the Saksham app, a disabled voter can check his/her name in the voter list, get the location of the polling booth, request for a wheelchair for transportation to the booth, etc.

One can also appeal for registration as a new voter, correction in voter card, linking of voter card with Aadhaar or other types of services related to the electoral process. He can even get information about the candidate contesting the election. This capable app can be downloaded on your Android mobile from Google Play Store. As soon as the app is opened, there will be options for voter registration, facilities at polling booth, information related to voter card and information and complaint. After this the app can be used for other facilities also.
