Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Leaders of India Alliance reach Election Commission on the issue of releasing election data

Questions are continuously being raised on the suspicious role of the Election Commission of India in the Lok Sabha elections in the country. Now the leaders of India Alliance have complained about this matter.

When many complaints are coming in regarding the suspicious role of the Election Commission to benefit Narendra Modi and BJP, then the opposition leaders have come face to face and lodged a complaint.

Talking on this issue, Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi said that we all met the Election Commission today and registered our objection.

Opposition leaders complained about this matter

  • There should not be a delay of 11 days in releasing the voting percentage, but what is even more worrying is that the voting percentage has increased.
  • Compared to the 2019 elections, such an increase has not been seen in these figures. If the data is released soon, there will be no speculation.
  • The opposition had filed the complaint long ago, but unfortunately the Election Commission has uploaded its reply some time before our meeting today.
  • 11 complaints have been filed against PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah but no action has been taken against them. This needs an answer soon.
