Govind Malu passes away : Madhya Pradesh BJP unit spokesperson Govind Malu died of a heart attack on Wednesday night. He was 67 years old. His last rites were performed this morning from his residence in Indore, in which Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also came. On hearing the news of Malu's death, CM Mohan Yadav left all the election programs and reached Indore on Thursday morning.

Local BJP leaders informed about Malu's death

A local BJP leader said that Govind Malu had gone to Bhopal on Wednesday, from where he reached his residence in Indore in the evening. Here in the evening he suddenly suffered a heart attack. After this he was taken to the nearest hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

Chief Minister Shri Yadav expressed condolences

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav expressed grief over the demise of Govind Malun and described him as a great legacy of BJP. He said, 'I am very sad to know that Govind Malu has passed away due to a heart attack. He performed many responsibilities for BJP. He was with me since the day of his return because of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's election rally.

Before joining politics, Malu used to write sports reviews.

Malu, who held the responsibility of media in-charge of the BJP state unit, also served as the vice-president of the State Mineral Development Corporation. Before joining politics, he used to write sports reviews. He is survived by his mother, wife, two sons and a daughter.
