The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted the possibility of rain and storm in many states across the country including Uttar Pradesh. After this there is a possibility of relief from heat. However, a fresh wave of heat is expected in areas of Rajasthan and West Madhya Pradesh between May 8 and 10. Heat will leave the states of South India from today, there may be rain in the states of Eastern and South India till May 11.
Light to moderate hailstorm may occur at many places in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Himachal between May 9 and 12. Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab and Rajasthan may receive light to moderate rain during May 10-12, while Uttar Pradesh may receive light to moderate rain between May 8 and 12. Apart from this, there is a possibility of dust in Eastern Uttar Pradesh on 8th to 12th May, in Western Uttar Pradesh on 11th May, in Haryana, Western Rajasthan on 10th to 12th May and in Eastern Rajasthan on 10th May. Light to moderate rain may also occur over West Bengal, Sikkim during 8 to 11 May, Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha during 8 to 12 May.

Talking about the last 24 hours, heat wave conditions were observed in Tamil Nadu and Telangana. Heavy rain occurred in Tamil Nadu, Sagarkantha of Andhra, Telangana, Rayalaseema. So hailstorm occurred in Eastern Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, North-Eastern Uttar Pradesh. The country's highest temperature of 45.2 degrees was recorded in Barmer in western Rajasthan.
