Bijapur: 29 children are being given free education by CRPF 202/F Cobra Battalion

Bijapur, 08 May (HS). Free education is being given to the children around Naxal affected village Palnar of the district by CRPF 202/F Cobra Battalion in the police camp itself. A lot of enthusiasm is being seen among the Sarpanch of village Palnar, local villagers as well as children regarding this initiative, currently 29 children have registered their presence. CRPF 202/F Cobra Battalion is distributing free notebooks, pens, pencils and many other materials to the children. CRPF F 202 Cobra Battalion Commandant Hari Singh, Deputy Commandant, Ajay Negi, Assistant Commandant, Vivek Rajwar, Assistant Commandant and other members of the force have contributed significantly in this initiative.

In this series, CRPF 202/F Cobra Battalion is providing various types of assistance to the families of Naxal victims. Under this initiative, clothes, ration and educational materials were provided on Wednesday to Sunita and her family, an innocent 11 year old girl who was injured on January 04, 2024 by an IED planted by Naxalites with the intention of harming the security forces. The result of this positive initiative is that the people of this area are freeing themselves from the influence of Naxalites and are contacting the security forces for small and big help. Due to the efforts of the security forces in the area, all the members of Palanar RPC surrendered before the police on 30 April 2024 and joined the mainstream of the society and are taking the benefits of the public welfare schemes of the government.
