'Peaceful resolution of the front is the guarantee of MSP' – farmer leader's appeal to PM Modi before Delhi March – News India Live

Farmers from Punjab and Haryana will march to Delhi at 11 am today. Farmers have made complete preparations for this. A large number of farmers are gathering at the border. Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher said that we have told the government that you can kill us, but please do not torture the farmers. We request the Prime Minister to come forward for a peaceful resolution of this front and end this protest by announcing a law guaranteeing minimum support price for farmers.

In the press conference at Shambhu border, farmer leaders appealed to the youth to be patient. Regarding today's 'Delhi Chalo' march, farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher said, 'We tried our best. We participated in the meetings, every point was discussed and now the decision has to be taken by the central government. We will remain calm. The Prime Minister should come forward and accept our demands. Rs 1.5-2 lakh crore is not a big amount… These obstacles should be removed and we should be allowed to march towards Delhi.

Farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal said, “We have no intention of creating any chaos… We have planned to go to Delhi from November 7. If the government says that they did not get enough time then it means that the government is trying to ignore us.

He said that it is not right that such huge barricades have been put up to stop us. We want to go to Delhi peacefully, the government should remove the barricades and let us come inside, otherwise accept our demands. We are calm, if they extend a hand we will also cooperate. We have to handle the situation with patience. He appealed to the youth not to lose themselves.
