The punishment was given to Govind Sahni, resident of Harinagar Siswani Tola of West Champaran Ramnagar police station. The court framed charges against the accused and heard the case on January 3, 2017. After hearing the arguments of both the parties, the judge found him guilty under sections 20(b)ii(c) and 23(c) of the NDPS Act and pronounced the above sentence.
