Scotland team has announced the squad for the T20 World Cup. Strong players have returned to the team. Top-order batsman Michael Jones and fast bowler Brad Wheal have returned to the team for the World Cup. Both players have been selected in Scotland's T20 squad for the upcoming mega events in West Indies and USA.
Both last played in T20 World Cup 2022. He is not part of the upcoming T20I tri-series against the Netherlands, although he has been included in the T20 World Cup squad. The team is being captained by Richie Barrington. Scotland are in Group B of the T20 World Cup along with England, Australia, Oman and Namibia.

Michael Jones played his last international match almost two years ago in October against Zimbabwe. However, after this he was performing well in domestic cricket. As far as Brad Wheel is concerned, he played his last international match against Canada in March. Scotland head coach Doug Watson said, “It is important for us to have Michael Jones and Brad Wheal available. His experience of the last T20 World Cup will be useful for the team.
