Kaithal, 3 May (Hindustan Reporter) Unknown accused cheated a youth of Rs 15 lakh 99 thousand 706 by luring him to complete the task and earn profit by investing money in the company. Police have registered a case against the accused on Friday.
A young man, resident of Khurana Road, Kaithal, complained to the cyber police station that on January 25, he came in contact with a girl named Monica through an advertisement for work at home on Instagram. Monica gave him a WhatsApp number. When he sent a message on the given number, a reply came from a girl named Radhika. In that message, Coin was written to talk on behalf of DCX Exchange Digital Marketing Company. When he chatted with Radhika, she offered him to work from home and said that you will have to complete some tasks sitting at home. For this, he was given a link of Telegram and when he clicked on the link, he started talking to Monica on Telegram.
There a girl named Monica gave information about the money investing scheme and initially on January 26, she invested Rs 1,000 in the scheme and got Rs 1,300. After this, the accused got him invested lakhs of rupees by joining him in different groups. The accused also showed him the profit of the invested amount. When he tried to withdraw his profit amount, it did not come out. On this he talked to the company member Rohit and he said that to withdraw the amount you will have to pay 100 points and you will have to purchase 60 points. For this you will have to deposit three lakh 60 thousand rupees more in the company.
By repeatedly misleading him, the accused got Rs 15 lakh 99 thousand 706 transferred to different accounts. Even after this, the accused started demanding more money by making different excuses. When he suspected fraud, he refused to give more money. When he called on the numbers given by the accused and asked for his money back, they threatened to kill him. By doing this the accused have cheated the complainant of Rs 15 lakh 99 thousand 706. Investigating officer Ravindra said that the police have registered a case against the accused. The case is being investigated.
