Los Angeles: Violent riots also broke out at various universities on Wednesday following the attack and assault on pro-Palestinian students at the University of California, Los Angeles. At Lisconzie University in Madison, students clashed with police officers after police broke down tents, the university's chancellor told reporters.
Fifteen students were injured in a clash between pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian students at the University of California, with one hospitalized with multiple injuries.
At Columbia University, students entered the campus on Tuesday night and tried to capture the university building on Wednesday morning.

Therefore the Vice Chancellor had to call for outside (police) help. Here the police arrived with helmets and safety shields and chased away the fighting students.
On Wednesday, police arrived at Edison carrying only shields and dispersed the fighting students. In the incident, police uprooted all but one tentacle. One of them was taken to hospital after being hit on the head with a skateboard by a policeman. said police spokesman Mark Losicot.
