The nomination process for Lok Sabha elections has started in Haryana. 7 candidates filed nomination papers in the state. The last date for nomination is 6th May. On the first day i.e. 29th April, maximum number of nominations were filed in Sonipat Lok Sabha seat. Here 3 candidates filed their nomination papers.
Two nominations were filed in Gurugram, from here BJP candidate Rao Inderjit has filed nomination. One candidate each from Sirsa and Bhiwani-Mahendragarh filed nomination papers. In Haryana, candidates will be able to file their nomination papers till May 6. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be held on Tuesday 7th May. Candidate You will be able to withdraw your name till 9th May. Voting will take place on 25th May. The results will be declared after counting of votes on June 4. This time, if any candidate wants to take online admission, then after filling the online form, he will have to submit the hard copy to the concerned Returning Officer. Persons with 40 per cent disability and senior citizens above 85 years of age will have to apply to the Returning Officer for consent to vote at home by filling Form-12D within 5 days of the issue of the notification. In such a situation, all BLOs have been instructed to go door-to-door and provide Form 12-D, so that it can be ensured that no one from the above is deprived of voting.
After filling the form, BLOs will also go to the voters' homes and submit Form-12D. If a person wants to go to the booth and vote, he does not need to fill Form 12D. Congress has so far been able to announce the names of only 8 candidates. The Congress candidate from Gurugram Lok Sabha seat has not been announced yet. Congress has entered into an agreement with Aam Aadmi Party on Kurukshetra seat under the Bharat Alliance. BJP and JJP have announced the names of candidates for all 10 seats and INLD for 6 Lok Sabha seats.
