Janjgir: Government servants exercised their franchise in the convenience centre, 78 postal ballots were cast on the first day

Korba/Janjgir-Champa 29 April (Hindu). Under the direction of Collector and District Election Officer Akash Chhikara, a convenience center has been set up for all the employees, officers and absentee-compulsory service voters posted on election duty for the Lok Sabha General Election-2024 to vote through postal ballot. Postal Ballot Nodal Officer Mrs. Payal Pandey said that the security forces in the assembly constituencies 33 Akaltara, 34 Janjgir-Champa, 38 Pamgarh (SC), 35 Sakti (partial), 37 Jaijapur (partial), Kotwar and other districts falling under the district. Postal ballot paper facility center for officers and employees has been established in Janjgir next to the new auditorium building of District Panchayat.

Deputy Director of Statistics, Mrs. Payal Pandey said that on the first day, 78 officers and employees have voted through postal ballot in the Postal Ballot Facility Center and 7 ballot papers were received through ETPBS.

On Monday, police department personnel arrived to exercise their franchise. Ram Dulari Yadav said that there was no problem of any kind in casting vote through postal ballot. Very good arrangements have been made by the district administration. Similarly, Mrs. Saraswati Jangde, who came from Janjgir-Champa police station to vote through postal ballot, said that we will be present at our duty place on the polling day, hence the district administration has made arrangements for a postal ballot facility centre. He said that very good arrangements have been made by the district administration in the facility centre. Shri Balveer Prasad Dewangan said that earlier we were not able to vote due to our duty, now due to this facility we are able to cast our vote, which is giving us the facility to participate in this democracy. City soldier Vivekananda Goswami praised this facility built by the district administration and described it as convenient.

Voting can be done from 29th April to 06th May – Similarly, for the officers and employees of security forces, Kotwar and other districts, from 29th April to 3rd May from 9 am to 5 pm, in the postal ballot box next to the New Auditorium Building, District Panchayat. Can vote through. Polling personnel of Janjgir district can vote from 9 am to 5 pm from April 29 to April 30 at Swami Atmanand English Medium School No. 01 Janjgir. Compulsory Service Voters, Employees Postal Voting Center, Returning Officer Office, Janjgir from 01 May to 3 May from 9 am to 5 pm and other left out voters of the district from 04 May to 06 May from 10 am to 5.30 pm. One can vote through postal ballot at Voting Centre, Returning Officer's Office Janjgir.
