Dehradun, 26 April (HS). Governor Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh (Retd) said that only the young students of the country will fulfill the resolve of a developed India. Today's youth shapes the tomorrow of the nation, so youth should harness their power and potential by seizing opportunities.
The Governor said these things in a program organized by IIMUN at Raj Bhavan on Friday. During this program, students from various schools participated and interacted with the Governor on many topics. The Governor answered the questions and curiosities of the children and inspired them to move forward in the right direction with a positive attitude.
On this occasion, the Governor said that participation of youth in nation building is very important. You all are the future of our country. In the present era, youth is a powerful asset of the nation, possessing abundant energy and enthusiasm which is considered essential for overall progress. He called upon the youth to master both their knowledge and skills so that the overall development of the nation can take place. The Governor said that only the young students of the country will fulfill the resolve of a developed India. We must leverage technology and innovation to enhance the capabilities of youth for social and economic development.
IIMUN (India International Movement to Unite the Nations) is a dedicated youth student organization comprising of over 26,000 dedicated youth from 220 cities and 35 countries.
