Baghdad: Attack on Iraq after Iran: There have been major air strikes on military bases in Iraq today. Two Iraqi military bases were bombed by an unidentified aircraft at midnight in the Babil province, south of Baghdad. Air strikes were carried out by drones and two places were targeted.
According to the information, these attacks took place on a military base used by Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF). Three people have also been injured in these attacks.
Ammunition warehouse destroyed
According to sources, this attack was carried out by the Iraqi paramilitary force Hashd Shaabi force in the northern part of Babil province. The attack targeted two military installations, one of which destroyed an ammunition depot of Hashd Shaabi forces and the other targeted a tank headquarters.
Quoting Xinhua news agency, a source said that the sound of explosions was heard in Madain area, located about 30 kilometers south-east of Baghdad, but there is no concrete information yet about the explosions.
America and Israel have denied the attack
Both the US and Israel have refused to invade Iraq. Both countries said that they have no involvement in this. Earlier, America itself had foiled the attack on Ain-al-Asad airport. Soldiers from America and other countries are present here.
Iran's connection with PMF
It is noteworthy that PMF is an Iran-backed organization which has more than one lakh fighters. This organization has attacked Syria several times and has threatened America and Israel several times.
