India-US special plan on maritime security in the Indian Ocean will thwart China's moves

Washington: US Secretary of State Lloyd Austin has said that by enhancing the capabilities of the Indian military, the two countries can work together to maintain a more stable 'balance of power' in the Indo-Pacific region. During a congressional committee hearing this week on the Defense Department's annual budget, he told the committee that the US and Indian navies are accelerating maritime operations. With this, a new chapter is beginning in defense relations between India and America.

Austin further said that this partnership is mutually beneficial.

Additionally, in a separate hearing, Admiral John C. Aquino, commander of the Indo-Pacific Region Command, told lawmakers that 'given China's aggressive posture, a strong and cooperative India-US strategy for a free and open Indo-Pacific region is essential' Is.' Along with this, Commander Aquino told the said committee that China has also passed 'Land Boundary Law' in its Parliament regarding the ongoing border dispute between China and India since 2021. In which it is claimed, 'The sovereignty and territorial integrity of the People's Republic of China is inviolable.' It also includes a legal framework to enhance PLA activism for conservation.

At this stage, it is worth noting that after the Chinese army was beaten by India in Ladakh as well as in Doklam and Arunachal Pradesh, it was first the Chinese official media (only government newspapers in China) wrote about the Ladakh incident. That 'India attacked us' the land was ours but the army responded strongly.'

The true incident regarding this was that Chinese soldiers were 'physically' killed by Indian soldiers in the Ladakh region. (He was captured and beaten) Presently in Ladakh the herdsmen threaten and push back the advancing Chinese soldiers. India's rise in the Doklam valley. The chines are at the bottom. They cannot move forward. When he went further to Bhutan, India arrested him. This does not work in Arunachal. Therefore, now China has started expanding its foothold in the Indian Ocean region. On the other hand, India has defeated the Houthis and Somali pirates in the Arabian Sea and has almost established naval dominance in the region. This is why China really counts. It has signed an agreement with Maldives to establish a naval base there. Sooner or later the conflict between India and China in the Indian Ocean is sure to increase. China is in conflict with the Philippines in the Pacific Ocean. The dragon is roaring to swallow Taiwan. In such a situation, it is in India's interest to have agreements on maritime defense between India and America and if India is with them, then those agreements can also be beneficial for America in preventing China from entering the Indian Ocean into the Atlantic Ocean.
