The bugle of the upcoming 2027 assembly elections has officially sounded in the politics of Uttar Pradesh. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has activated its organizational machinery at full speed to achieve a hat-trick of power in the state and further strengthen its impenetrable stronghold. In this series, the country’s Union Home and Cooperation Minister and skilled strategist of Indian politics, Amit Shah reached the capital Lucknow. Amit Shah grandly inaugurated the first important meeting of the newly formed State Working Committee of Uttar Pradesh BJP held in the auditorium of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University, Ashiana, Lucknow. With this important visit of the Home Minister, BJP has made a strategic noise of its comprehensive election campaign and detailed micro-booth management in Uttar Pradesh.
This first grand session of BJP State Working Committee held in Lucknow started with traditional Vedic chanting and lighting of lamp. On the stage of this historic meeting, along with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, BJP’s newly appointed state president Pankaj Chaudhary, State General Secretary Organization Dharampal Singh, UP in-charge Vinod Tawde, Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, Union Ministers and many senior party officials were present together. More than 3,000 working committee members, MPs, MLAs, district presidents and key officials of the fronts from all over the state participated in this huge Mahamanthan program, due to which the entire complex appeared drenched with electoral energy and immense enthusiasm of the workers.
While addressing the inaugural session of the Working Committee, Union Home Minister Amit Shah aggressively attacked the opposition parties and infused new enthusiasm among the party workers. Amit Shah said in clear words that Bharatiya Janata Party in Uttar Pradesh is firmly established like ‘Angad’s feet’, which no political opponent or alliance can shake. He inspired the workers and directed that like Arjun of Mahabharata, they should concentrate only on winning the 2027 assembly elections with an overwhelming majority. Along with this, the Home Minister made a sharp attack on the narrative of Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav and challenged them for an open debate on the floor of Parliament and handed over five major work targets to the workers to take the achievements of good governance and double engine government to the booth level.
The primary agenda of this two-day State Working Committee meeting is not only to pass political resolutions but also to give a befitting reply to the political atmosphere and ‘PDA’ like narrative being created by the opposition parties – especially Samajwadi Party (SP), Congress and BSP. Amit Shah’s famous ‘Panna Pramukh’ strategy, micro-caste management and resetting the 60-40 social engineering formula as per the new scenario of 2027 are being discussed in detail in the meeting. Party strategists believe that strong organization at the booth level is the real key to victory in every election, hence a plan for separate detailed review meetings has been prepared for all the six organizational areas of the state (West, Braj, Kanpur-Bundelkhand, Awadh, Kashi and Gorakhpur).
This first official meeting of the Working Committee is finalizing the concrete action plan of the Modi government at the Center and the Yogi government of the state to take the public welfare schemes, good governance, strong law and order and development works to every home. In his welcome speech, the new state president Pankaj Chaudhary described the workers as the real capital of the party and said that the new trust that has arisen due to the elimination of crime and corruption in Uttar Pradesh since 2017 has to be continuously maintained. The meeting will formally conclude with a powerful speech and guidance from Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The Chief Minister will present the next roadmap for the development of the state and the vision of ‘Developed Uttar Pradesh’ before the Working Committee, so that the entire party can unite and achieve the historic goal of forming the BJP government in the state with an overwhelming majority for the third consecutive time.
