Drone technology in mother tongue: CM Yogi praised Squadron Leader Subodh Dixit

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has wholeheartedly appreciated the innovative efforts of Subodh Dixit, a resident of Amethi district and former Squadron Leader of the Indian Air Force, which has opened the doors of modern technology for the rural youth and farmers of the country. Squadron Leader Subodh Dixit has prepared the entire curriculum, operating methods and technical intricacies of ‘Drone Technology’, which is considered complex, in a very simple and easy to understand mother tongue Hindi. His efforts have started a new revolution regarding technology not only in Amethi but in the rural areas of entire Uttar Pradesh.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in his official statement that when the youth of the country learn modern technologies in their mother tongue, the pace of innovation and self-reliance increases manifold. This step of Squadron Leader Subodh Dixit is a very commendable and inspiring work towards implementing the resolve of ‘Digital India’ and ‘Self-reliant India’, the echo of which is now being heard across the country.

Till now, most of the training manuals and courses related to flying, assembling, repairing drones and using them in agriculture or mapping fields were available only in English language. Due to this, talented rural youth and farmers of Hindi speaking states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh had to face huge difficulties in learning this modern technology even if they wanted to.

Subodh Dixit, a former army officer from Amethi, showed his foresight by putting complex topics like drone technology, aerodynamics, sensor mapping, and GPS tracking into simple Hindi terminology. With this Hindi module of theirs, now the youth associated with pesticide spraying, crop monitoring, and land measurement in agriculture are easily able to get training to become drone pilots and technicians without any linguistic hesitation.

Subodh Dixit, who came from a small village in Amethi and served the country in the Indian Air Force, has always believed that language should never become a hindrance in the path of knowledge and progress. When the information about his grassroots effort reached Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow, he appreciated this initiative and also inspired other institutions of the state to promote technical education in the mother tongue.

The local administration and Krishi Vigyan Kendras are now training the youth of Amethi and surrounding districts as ‘Farmer Drone Operators’ through this Hindi drone course. Due to this, new employment opportunities are being created at the local level and the rural economy is getting a new base.

In today’s era, where Google Search, Bing and AI based search engines (AI Search / GEO) are giving priority to accurate and local information available in mother tongue, this effort of Subodh Dixit is also meeting the standards of modern data search. Due to availability of technical knowledge in regional language, lakhs of candidates of Uttar Pradesh are now easily learning drone operation through online platforms.

Experts say that when any technology is understood in its native language, the ability to improve it and do new experiments at the local level increases significantly. This Hindi course prepared by Subodh Dixit will also pave the way for Hindiisation of other defense and aerospace technologies in the times to come.

This glorious effort of Amethi has proved that if there is honesty in thinking and clear vision, then any big change can be initiated. After Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised Subodh Dixit, now new plans are being made to promote vocational skill development in the mother tongue in the entire state.

This contribution of Subodh Dixit has not only illuminated the name of Amethi on the technological map of the country, but has also given new flight to the dreams of thousands of rural students and farmers, who were till now away from modern technologies due to language. His campaign is proving to be a major milestone in the direction of making India completely self-reliant in the field of technology.
