Bollywood’s action star Tiger Shroff is in the media headlines these days because of his personal and property deals more than his films. Recently, the horrifying incident of firing near his car in Juhu area of Mumbai had shocked the entire Bollywood. Right after this horrific incident, Tiger Shroff has taken a big financial step and sold one of his prime luxury apartments in Mumbai.
According to property registration documents, the deal has been finalized for a total of Rs 9 crore. The most special thing about this high-profile transaction is that its official registry was completed on October 22, just a few days after the firing incident.
According to information received from real estate data analytics firms and government property documents, this property of Tiger Shroff is located on the 9th floor of ‘Rustomjee Paramount’ housing society located in the prestigious Khar West area of Mumbai.
The carpet area of this luxury apartment is approximately 1,291.14 square feet and this also includes an exclusive area of 95.80 square feet. The deal for this premium flat has been done at the rate of approximately Rs 64,891 per square feet. A huge stamp duty of about Rs 54 lakh has been paid on this deal by the buyer. Along with this, two covered car parking spaces have also been transferred to the new owner in this deal.
According to real estate data, Tiger Shroff bought this apartment from builder Keystone Realtors Pvt Ltd in July 2018 for around Rs 7.61 crore and took possession of it in November 2019. By selling it for ₹9 crore after eight years, the actor has made a huge profit of around ₹1.39 crore on this property, which represents a return of more than 18%.
This is not the first time that Tiger has sold his property; This is his third property sale within the last one year. Earlier, he had sold a flat located on the 22nd floor of the same building for Rs 15.6 crore and had also resold his other property in Pune at a good margin.
With this property sale, discussions have started again everywhere about the sensational incident which took place in Juhu area of Mumbai on the evening of 18th October. Two unknown bike-borne assailants suddenly opened fire targeting Tiger Shroff’s car and fled from the spot.
Tiger Shroff had a narrow escape in that attack, but his driver and a passerby standing nearby were injured. Mumbai Police, showing promptness, arrested the suspects from Kota in Rajasthan. Only after this incident, serious questions were raised regarding the safety of Bollywood celebrities when the name of Lawrence Bishnoi gang came to light.
There is a lot of speculation among market experts and film circles whether Tiger Shroff has sold this property keeping in mind his personal and family safety? However, real estate experts believe that any property deal worth crores of rupees and its paperwork takes weeks to complete.
In such a situation, it is possible that talks to sell this apartment were already going on and coincidentally the date of registration fell just after the firing incident. At present, no official statement has been issued by Tiger Shroff or his family on this deal and security reasons.
