
Keshav Prasad Maurya ji, while presiding over the Japan-India business networking program organized by Invest UP at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow today, welcomed and felicitated Japanese Ambassador Mr. Ono Keiichi ji by presenting him a bouquet and a memento of Lord Buddha.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the Uttar Pradesh government is continuously working in the fields of agriculture, industry, investment and employment to realize Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s resolve of a developed India. By combining the huge potential of agricultural production in Uttar Pradesh with modern technology and investment, the state can be made the largest food processing center in the country. He said that partnership with Japan can play an important role in this direction.
Welcoming the Japanese delegation and the country’s domestic investors to Uttar Pradesh, he said that the state government is committed to providing necessary facilities, safe environment and better business environment to the investors. He expressed confidence that such business networking programs will give new impetus to India-Japan economic relations as well as create new opportunities for investment, employment and technical cooperation in Uttar Pradesh.
Ambassador of Japan to India, Mr. Ono Keiichiji, Mr. Harry Hakui Kosato, Director, Kikoman India Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Sudip Goenka, Director, Goldie Group, representatives of the Japanese and Indian industries, investors, senior officials and other dignitaries were present with dignity in the program.
