According to religious beliefs, if Rudrabhishek is done as per the rituals and with a true heart, then happiness, peace and positive energy resides in the house. However, it is equally important to follow the rules of Vaastu Shastra along with the material of worship. 1. Choosing the right direction for worship
According to Vastu Shastra, Ishaan angle i.e. north-east direction is considered the most sacred and best for any religious ritual or Rudrabhishek in the house. Always choose this direction for Rudrabhishek. Clean the place of worship thoroughly and purify it by sprinkling Ganga water there. Make sure that there is no dirt or obstruction of any kind at this place, as this direction is considered to be the abode of the gods.
2. Cleaning and decoration of the main door
On the day of puja, special cleaning of the main entrance of the house should be done. Take water in a vessel, add Ganga water to it and sprinkle it all over the main door. After this, place a beautiful arch of mango or Ashoka leaves at the main entrance. According to Vastu Shastra, tying Toran at the door brings positive energy into the house. Along with this, make sure to make the sacred Swastika symbol on both sides of the door with vermilion or kumkum.
3. Do not keep junk or heavy items around the place of worship
There should not be any kind of useless items or junk in the room or place where you are going to get Rudrabhishek done. Take special care that there should not be any old dirty clothes, shoes, slippers or any item made of leather present in the puja room. Also, avoid keeping any heavy items at the puja place. The more open, clean and airy you keep that place, the more positive and energetic the atmosphere will be.
4. Purification of the entire house before the ritual
On the day of Rudrabhishek, clean not only the place of worship but the entire house thoroughly. Before the puja starts, spread the smoke of incense, lamp or frankincense throughout the house. According to Vastu, by doing this the negative energy or stagnant blockage present in the house gets eliminated and the atmosphere becomes completely pure and light. The more calm and peaceful the atmosphere of the house is, the more positive the results of the puja will be.
