Tragic attack in Mozambique, 94 people died when a boat carrying 130 people sank

Maputo: At least 94 passengers have died after an unlicensed ferry boat capsized off the northern coast of the south-east African country, Mozambique's Marie Time Institute said.

Giving this information, an official named Lorenzo Machado further said on state television on Monday that children were also among those who drowned.

Giving more details about the tragedy on Sunday, Lorenzo Machado told reporters that the unlicensed boat was originally one of those used for fishing, but it was believed that the boat was swept away by tidal waves. Had drowned.
