National Testing Agency (NTA) has completed all its preparations for releasing the provisional answer key. According to media reports, NTA can upload the Provisional Answer Key of UGC NET June 2026 on the official website any day this week. After this the candidates will be able to compare their marks.

The UGC NET June 2026 examination was conducted in two shifts between June 22 and June 30 at various centers across the country. This time a record number of candidates appeared in this examination conducted for a total of 87 subjects. More than 10 days have passed since the examination ended, but there has been a slight delay in the release of the answer key.

According to sources, the main reason for this delay is that the exam was re-conducted on July 5 due to technical problems at an examination center in Jalandhar. Now that the examinations of all the centers have been completed, NTA is all set to release the final provisional key.

  3. Enter login credentials: Now a new login page will open in front of you, where you will have to enter your application number and password or date of birth.

Along with releasing the provisional answer key, NTA will also upload the question papers of all the candidates and their response sheets on the dashboard. If any candidate feels that the answer to any question issued by NTA is wrong, then he can challenge it online.

For this, candidates will have to pay a fixed processing fee per question and submit their objection within the stipulated time limit. After this, a team of subject experts (Expert Committee) will closely review all the objections. If the objection is found to be correct, then the ‘Final Answer Key’ will be released after improving the answer key and on the basis of that the final result of UGC NET 2026 will be declared.
