Does the lamp go out midway during worship? Make cotton wicks at home using this secret method. Does the lamp get extinguished midway during puja? Make cotton wick at home in this secret way

In Sanatan Dharma and Hindu culture, lighting lamps in front of Gods and Goddesses in the morning and evening is considered very sacred and mandatory. It is believed that the burning flame of the lamp eliminates negative energy from the house and brings happiness, prosperity and peace. But many times we see that as soon as the puja starts or within a few minutes, the wick of the lamp gets extinguished, or it completely absorbs the ghee and oil and settles down. In the scriptures, extinguishing the lamp during worship is not considered auspicious. If this happens to you too, then it is directly related to the way of making Deepak Ki Bati. Let us know the traditional way of making perfect, bright and long burning round and long wick at home in a very easy method, with which God will be pleased and fulfill all your wishes.

The most unique and easy way to make Round Cotton Wick

Generally, round wick is mostly used in the worship or daily aarti of Lord Vishnu, Mata Lakshmi and Hanuman ji. To make this, first of all take good quality clean cotton. Break a small piece of cotton and spread it between the palms. Now pull the middle part of this piece upwards and shape it into a beak or tip. To strengthen this tip, apply some raw milk or Ganga water on your fingers and twist it well upwards. By applying milk or Ganga water, the upper part of the wick remains stiff and straight, due to which it does not bend even after being immersed in ghee and the lamp burns gracefully till the end.

Do not make this mistake while making long cotton wick, it will always remain straight.

Long wick is used while worshiping ancestors, worshiping Mahadev or making Kalava (Mauli) wick. To make a long wick, spread the cotton in uniform length. After this, with the help of both the palms, roll it in one direction and twist it gently. Keep in mind that the wick should neither be too thick nor too thin. To make it more durable, you can also use some cotton thread or Kalava along with cotton. After making these wicks, before using them in puja, soak them in pure desi ghee or sesame oil for some time, by doing this the flame burns smoothly and brightly without any flickering.

This remedy of camphor and saffron will brighten your luck, your sleeping luck will awaken.

If you want that there should always be positivity in your house and the smoke coming out of the lamp purifies the environment, then do take a small measure while making the wick. While twisting the wick, apply some camphor powder or saffron mixed water on your fingers. When this wick containing camphor and saffron burns in the lamp, it will spread an extremely divine and lovely aroma throughout the house.
