I am a true follower of Mahatma Gandhi and Babasaheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, so I will continue to fight this ideological battle with peace and love. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan He should immediately resign from his post, taking responsibility for the paper leak and playing with the future of lakhs of students of the country.”

These are the same people and mafia who are pushing the future of millions of promising youth of India into darkness by leaking big national level papers like NEET in the country. And now when the suffering youth of the country are taking to the streets and demanding the resignation of the Education Minister, these cowards are getting them attacked by hired goons. This is extremely shameful and It’s a cowardly act.”
What is ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ (CJP) and how did it start?
If we look at the website and history of ‘Cockroach Janata Party’, which has become the biggest digital movement among the internet and the youth, it was born in very interesting circumstances:
-
More than 4 million followers on Instagram: Today, CJP is not just a parody page, but has become the country’s largest youth digital movement with more than 4 million (40 lakh) followers on Instagram and more than 2 lakh registered members on its official website.
-
The idea came from a statement by the CJI: In a detailed interview given to BBC Marathi, Abhijeet Deepke told how this social media campaign started. Abhijeet said, “I was watching a live statement of the Chief Justice of India (CJI) on X, where he was comparing the young generation of the country to ‘cockroaches’ and parasites for criticizing the current poor system and voicing their independent opinions on social media. I found it extremely hurtful and disappointing that the guardian of the Constitution and freedom of expression is insulting the youth in this manner.”
-
Youth Eligibility and Manifesto: Abhijeet further said, “I tweeted angrily that if the system considers us cockroaches, then why don’t all the cockroaches come together. This got amazing reactions from the Gen-Z youth. After this we created a parody party online and named it ‘Cockroach Janata Party’. We kept the same eligibility to become a member of this party as the CJI had asked to insult the youth – like you have to be unemployed, you Must be lazy and stay online 24 hours. Soon lakhs of youth registered themselves in it and it became an unprecedented movement.”

Demand for independence of judiciary and 50% women reservation
According to Abhijit Deepke, the manifesto of Cockroach Janata Party is a bitter mirror of India’s democracy and current political anomalies in today’s era. Two things have been raised most prominently in his manifesto:
-
Impartiality of Judiciary: CJP believes that the judges of the country who are taking huge benefits, post of Chancellor or political tickets from the government immediately after retirement, are extremely dangerous for the democracy of the country. The judiciary will have to remain completely independent from the influence of the government, otherwise no one will be able to save the Constitution.
-
50 percent women reservation: Criticizing the hollow promises of 33 per cent women’s reservation that have been hanging for decades, CJP demands in its manifesto that women should be given direct representation in the Parliament and all the legislative assemblies of the country as per their rights as half of the population. Full reservation of 50 percent must be given.
