This study was conducted on more than 11,000 people for a long period of time. According to research data, people who consumed more than one-fourth (25%) of their total daily calories in the form of food after 9 pm, had the highest number of complaints of painful stomach related problems like severe constipation and diarrhea. On the contrary, among the smart people who finished their dinner before 9 pm, the risk of all these serious stomach related problems was seen to be 2.5 times less. The study also makes it clear that when you eat something when you are angry or stressed, it also has similar adverse effects on the body.
