Uttar Pradesh Information and Public Relations Department: When there is moisture in the eyes and the voice starts choking in the throat to say something, there are many words but the feeling of expressing them is like an ocean and it cannot be said… then it is impossible to fathom that condition of a person or his emotions..!! That long wait of six years…!! When the vehicle of life is slipping and moving with difficulty..!! In such a situation, if someone can save your pain..!! Understand…!! So similar scene happens. Of course..!! If my comment is considered as “Raag Telahi”, it does not make any difference to my sympathies and my humanitarian thoughts, but that confusion of those 411 contract workers of Uttar Pradesh Information and Public Relations Department/children’s fees/struggle for ration/electricity bill and the silence of “zero” at the end of the month.! In the name of salary, the “remuneration” is not even enough to bear the burden of flour and rice for a month. In such a situation, ask him that when the monthly salary increases from 2000/- to 8000/-!
File of Remuneration Increase: If the swing of monsoon keeps swinging on the fifth floor for six years and without any decision it sets every time like the setting sun… then one’s hope is lost that maybe now the evening of life will end like this..!
Some sensitive departmental officer informed Director Information Vishal Singh ji about the conditions of 411 contract workers…!! It seems that the exercise on “Qissa-e-Ujarat” started in such a way that as soon as the information about the remuneration of these few rupees came to Sarbarah-e-Shoba i.e. Mudir-e-Mahakama i.e. departmental head Vishal Singh ji, the file was immediately summoned..!! Within a few hours, the decision was made that now the remuneration will be enough to be able to arrange food for the month…!! Not only this, this decision was taken in the middle of the month and it was decided that the increased salary/remuneration will be given for the entire June 2026..!! Meaning, all 411 contract workers got increased salary and that too full month’s remuneration in June, 2026, which was implemented from May, 2026..!!
According to sources, AD, Arvind Kumar Mishra, PCS officer Atreya Mishra and Finance Controller Sanjay Singh played a tremendous role. All the departmental proceedings were completed in a hurry and the order for increase in remuneration was issued..!! The next day, when I reached the Information Department, the Director’s PA, Maurya ji, offered me sweets… and when I reached the Finance Controller’s room, I got to eat sweets there too! The reason for Mithai’s happiness was said to be that someone has got a departmental promotion but this information was given by a senior official of electronic media…!!
It turns out that a beautiful thing has happened…
When I came out of the electronic media, I talked to some contract workers…!! When I talked to some people on this issue, their eyes became moist..!! When some of them tried to say something, their throats got choked..!! The names of Vishal Singh and Sanjay Singh came out of the voice, after this the feelings of happiness and gratitude did not allow me to say anything further..!! The contract workers left.. I stood there casually wondering how even an increase of Rs 2000/- to Rs 8000/- per month can open the doors of so much happiness, so much hope, so many expectations in the journey of life..!!??
There are people here whose mind is not satisfied even after earning lakhs..!!
269 contract workers of category-2 will now get 25 thousand instead of 20 thousand per month. In category-3, the remuneration of TV Technician, Junior Photographer, Cameraman, Computer Operator, Assistant Director Urdu, Editor, Saw Assistant, which was 16 thousand per month, has now become 22 thousand.
The salary of multi tasking staff/retainer which was Rs 1200 became Rs 20 thousand…!!!
Seeing smiles on sad faces also has its own pleasures..!!

Today all the contract workers met me…!! They may not have had the courage to say anything to you…!! Their wish is to please them by having a lunch with them in the premises of the Information Department…!!
