Beijing, April 8 (Hindustan Reporter) Kazakhstan won the team acrobatic title while Israel won the gold medal in women's doubles free at the ongoing Artistic Swimming World Cup here on Sunday.
China placed second in team acrobatic, finishing 8.7501 points behind Kazakhstan, while Australia won the bronze medal.
In the women's doubles free, Israel's Shelly Bobritsky and Ariel Nasi won gold, finishing 4.7457 points ahead of silver medalists Lin Yanhan and Xu Huiyan of China, while Mexico took bronze.
Italy captured the mixed doubles free title, while Kazakhstan and Spain won silver and bronze respectively.
Let us tell you that the three-day World Cup ended on Sunday. China topped the medal tally with six gold medals. The host nation competed in all 11 events, with its top swimmers focusing on the team free and second-tier athletes competing in the other 10 events.
There are four stages in the Artistic Swimming World Cup 2024 series. The Beijing leg was the first leg, followed by the second leg in Paris from May 3-5, the third leg in Markham, Canada from May 31 to June 2 and the fourth and final leg in Budapest, Hungary from July 5-7.
