CBSE 12th grade students get a major relief! Re-evaluation fees slashed significantly. Big relief to CBSE 12th students! Huge reduction in re-evaluation fees

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has given a huge and historic gift to lakhs of class 12 students and their parents. After the results are declared, students are often not satisfied with their marks and want to get their copies re-checked, but they step back due to the fear of huge fees. Understanding this problem of the students, the Board has taken a very commendable decision of drastically reducing the re-evaluation fees. Not only this, CBSE has also implemented a revolutionary rule under which if the student’s marks increase after scrutiny, then the entire fee deposited will be refunded by the board.

The pocket burden of parents will be reduced, big decision of the board

This new step of CBSE will provide maximum relief to those middle class families whose children wanted to get re-checking done in one or more subjects. Earlier, the heavy fee charged per subject often came in the way of students. The board believes that after this cut, no promising student will be deprived of his/her marks due to financial constraints. As soon as this decision was announced, there has been a wave of happiness among students and parents from social media to school campuses and they are considering it as a big relief.

If numbers increase, full fee will be refunded, know what is the new rule

The most attention-grabbing thing in this entire announcement is the fee refund policy. According to the new rules, if a student applies for re-evaluation and after verification there is increase in marks in his answer sheet, then the board will assume that there was a mistake at the initial stage of evaluation of the copies. In this case, the entire amount paid by the student for r-evaluation will be sent directly back to his bank account. However, if there is no change in the numbers or the numbers are less, the fees will not be refunded.

Trying to make the entire process more transparent

Experts say that this decision of CBSE is not only in the interest of the students, but it will also make the evaluation system of the board more accountable and transparent. Due to the fear of fee refund, there will now be a moral pressure on the teachers who check the copies to do correct and accurate evaluation, which is expected to reduce the human errors in checking the copies. The board has made it clear that students will start getting the benefits of these changed rules and reduced fees from this session itself, for which necessary updates have been made on the online portal.
