On coming June 1, 2026, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself will encourage these meritorious students. A very grand and state level function is going to be organized at Lok Bhawan, Lucknow, where 10th and 12th toppers of UP Board as well as CBSE, CISCE and Sanskrit Board will be felicitated.

This year, a total of 223 students from all four boards have secured their place in the merit list. The special thing is that along with the children, their parents have also been specially invited to witness this historic moment.

The Uttar Pradesh government has announced huge cash prizes and modern gadgets to boost the morale and upliftment of the students. The government has clarified that the honorarium will be directly transferred (DBT) into the bank accounts of the students to avoid delays in paper processes.

Director of Secondary Education Dr. Mahendra Dev has given strict instructions to all the District Magistrates and Education Officers that all the 223 topper students along with their mother or father (one of the parents) should reach Lucknow by 5 pm on May 31, 2026 under any circumstances. Complete arrangements for their stay and travel are being made by the administration.

• Program Timings: This main function will start at 11 am sharp on June 1 at Lok Bhawan in Lucknow.

• Live telecast at district headquarters: Those students or their relatives who are not able to attend this program in Lucknow due to some reason, there is no need to worry. Arrangements have been made to show live telecast of this grand program in all the district headquarters and main government schools, so that other students can also take inspiration from it.
