Keshav Prasad Maurya today instructed the senior officials of the Rural Development Department that ‘Gram Chaupal’ should be organized regularly every Friday in all the Gram Panchayats of every district of the state. He said that Gram Chaupal will become an effective platform for establishing direct communication between the public and the administration, which will ensure quick, transparent and effective solution to the problems of rural areas. It should be ensured that the complaints and problems received in the Village Chaupal are resolved on the spot as far as possible. If it is not possible to resolve any matter immediately, then a time-bound action plan should be made for it and the concerned officers should monitor it regularly and information about the progress should also be made available to the complainant.
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said that the aim of the state government is to further strengthen good governance, development and public trust in the villages. By organizing regular Gram Chaupal in every Gram Panchayat, trust will increase between the administration and the public, problems will be resolved in a timely manner and rural development will get a new impetus. He clarified that public satisfaction is the top priority of the government and with this spirit the system of Gram Chaupal will be implemented effectively in the entire state.
