Man always wants to know what happens after death. Is the account of our good and bad deeds really shown on a big screen? Science may not have a direct answer to this, but 53-year-old Kelsey Abernathy McLean, a resident of Philadelphia, America, has lived this mystery very closely. During dinner, a piece of steak got stuck in her throat, due to which she could not breathe for three and a half minutes. Medically, she was on the brink of death, but what she experienced in these 210 seconds changed her outlook on life forever.
One bite and the pace of life stopped
According to a report in the British newspaper ‘Mirror’, Kelsey was enjoying a wonderful barbecue dinner with her family in the courtyard of her house. Everything was going very well, when he picked up a big piece of steak to eat. Unfortunately, as soon as he took the first bite, the piece got stuck in his throat before he could chew it. The air passage was completely closed. The family members wasted no time and used the ‘Heimlich Maneuver’ (a special technique to remove food stuck in the throat), but Kelsey’s luck ran out. His breathing stopped completely, his face started turning blue and his body fell lifeless on the ground.
Dark tunnel and feeling of infinite peace
Kelsey tells that as soon as darkness appeared before her eyes, she felt a very strange and different feeling. She felt as if she was slowly sinking into a deep dark pit or a cocoon. At that place time had completely stopped, meaning there was neither past nor future. There was no sound, no words were being spoken, yet she was able to easily understand the conversation and language of the entire universe. The most surprising thing was that he was not feeling any kind of fear or pain there, rather it seemed as if someone had wrapped him in a blanket of immense love, affection and peace.
The movie of life started playing before my eyes
Amidst the same deep darkness, suddenly a huge screen appeared in front of Kelsey, on which a short film of her entire life started playing. This is called ‘Life Review’ in medical and spiritual language. Kelsey told that she was not just watching the film like a spectator, but she was able to feel deeply within herself the pain and pleasure she had unknowingly given to the people throughout her life. He clearly saw how some of his bitter words spoken in the past had hurt the hearts of others, for which he also apologized wholeheartedly in that supernatural world.
Money, car and status are all just show off
This Near-Death Experience (NDE) taught Kelsey the biggest and bitterest truth of life. He realized that in this materialistic world, the money, expensive cars, luxurious houses and high social status that we run like crazy after, have no value after death. Kelsey says that it is very strange that a person spends his entire life collecting things which he cannot even take with him when he dies. Only our pure love and our actions (karma) go with us to the other world.
The photo kept in the purse saved my life
When Kelsey was swinging between life and death, suddenly a bright and shining light passed through her entire existence. Kelsey believes that just before this terrible accident, she was looking at some old photos of her husband Rob, taking them out of her purse. In that critical time of trouble, the same picture of her husband kept in her purse became her ‘Guardian Angel’, which gave her the strength to return back to earth. After three and a half minutes, Kelsey’s lungs filled with air again and her breathing returned. Even doctors considered it no less than a great miracle, because usually if there is no oxygen for four minutes, the human brain becomes brain dead forever.
Fear of death gone from mind forever
Today Kelsey is completely healthy and is living her normal life. However, she still gets scared remembering that scary moment and now whenever she eats something, she cuts the food into very small pieces. But this incident has erased the fear of death from his mind forever. He is now 100% convinced that the theory of Karma is absolutely true. Kelsey now lives her life openly, quickly forgives people’s mistakes and has kindness and compassion in her heart towards everyone.
