During SP rule, daughters were scared, in BJP rule the criminals are either in jail or have gone to the other world, Keshav Prasad Maurya.

Leader of the Legislative Council, Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya today took on the opposition in the House and presented the details of the government’s achievements and public welfare policies. Putting his point on the table through the Chairman, he made it clear that the Bharatiya Janata Party is the real protector of the backward people and women.

He clarified that BJP will never give reservation on the basis of religion, as it is unconstitutional. The opposition talking about reservation for Muslim women is only politics of ‘Muslim appeasement’.

Attacking the previous socialist government, the Deputy Chief Minister said that at that time there was so much fear among the public that people were afraid to go out at night. Reminiscing about old slogans, he said:

• “The goon sitting in the car with SP flag”

• “SP’s slogan is – the vacant plot is ours.”

• “Seeing Sapai – the daughter got scared.”
